FAQ
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by January 15, 2025. If you need more time, just let us know.
When should I book my flights?
We recommend booking your flights as soon as possible. It’s hard to say exactly when prices will be cheapest, so if you see something reasonable, go for it!
What is the attire?
For the wedding, we just want everyone to look their best! So lean on the formal side, but whatever makes you comfortable. For the welcome dinner, casual attire is fine. Keep in mind that the weather could be quite warm this time of year, so dress accordingly.
Why Buenos Aires?
As you know, we're from all over, and our loved ones are spread across the globe. Given that it would be a destination wedding for someone, after careful consideration we decided that Buenos Aires was the best option. Ariel’s extended family is local, and most of you were excited to travel to a new place and experience Argentine culture.
How do I get to the event venues?
Both the wedding and welcome dinner will take place in the heart of Buenos Aires. For many of you, they will be walking distance from your hotel or Airbnb. But as long as you’re staying in central BA (or "CABA"), it should be a reasonably short taxi or Uber ride.
Will the events be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding will have both indoor and outdoor components, weather permitting. The welcome dinner will be indoors.
Are children invited?
Absolutely! Please make sure to note children in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We tried our best to account for plus-ones when sending invitations. If you would like to bring a plus-one but we didn’t explicitly account for them on your invitation, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
What kind of weather should I expect?
The weather in Buenos Aires in early April is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the low-80s Fahrenheit (18-28°C). As in most places, weather these days can be unpredictable!
What kind of food will be served?
We’re so glad you asked! The wedding will feature a diverse menu inspired by Argentine cuisine and featuring local ingredients. The welcome dinner will be pasta — an Argentine staple!
Is Argentina expensive?
This is a complicated question. Argentina is currently mired with high inflation and currency devaluation. Local restaurants will be comparable to American prices, while transportation and accommodations will be quite inexpensive.
Is Buenos Aires safe?
Central Buenos Aires is generally safe , but like any major city, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and take precautions to ensure your safety. It’s best to avoid walking alone at night, carrying your cellphone in plain sight, and not flashing expensive jewelry or electronics.
